We have about 1500 careers available in the South African labour market.
Here you will have access to information about these careers, i.e. what tasks are associated with each career and what learning pathways or routes are available to obtain a qualification relevant to each career.

This section is designed to assist you to make an informed decision regarding which occupation fields, careers and qualifications are most suitable for the subjects you are doing.
The subject chooser will also indicate whether it is compulsory or advisable to do the subject as per the Department of Basic Education’s policy.
This section will guide you through searching for all public post school institutions in South Africa that provides education and training.
You may search by name ,type of qualification and type of institution or by institution within a particular distance from where you reside or town/city where you wish to study.
You will also have access to the qualifications offered by each listed institution, contact details and address.
This section will help you find qualifications listed with National Qualifications Framework levels and institutions offering these qualifications.
You may also browse the list of qualifications arranged in alphabetical order. The advanced search will help you narrow down your search as desired.
In this section of the NCAP you can search for qualifications you are interested in and find out different things about the qualifications like:
Where it is offered
How long it takes to complete the qualification.
NOTE: It is your responsibility to check and confirm that whichever qualification you are interested in is Registered with the South Africa Qualifications Authority.
